George Strait The Cowboy Rides Away Concert Tour

I will never forget June 7th, 2014 when George Strait "The Cowboy Rides Away Tour" came through town. 105,000 people joined The King of Country at  AT&T Stadium.  At the very end of the night, thousands of balloons dropped and the crowd went wild.  I remember being both exciting and sad as the concert ended.  I have been a fan of George Strait forever and it was an honor to photograph his last concert!

This was his last stop on his very last tour.  Some people were crying as they left the stadium and some rejoiced, it was a wonderful crazy night!  I was contracted by George's assistant to photograph the after party at the Stadium.  Asleep at the Wheel played in the Legends club while all of the tour's support team danced and partied till after 3 am.  Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert and Vince Gill just to name a few of the country stars I had the pleasure of shooting at the party.  It was an experience I will never forget!
